My Dad always said, ‘If
you do it or say it, own it’. Why is it then that when the left-wing go out on
their jolly-up marches they always have their faces covered? My suspicions are
manyfold. Many are there for a day out, unemployed with nothing better to do.
Many have rung in sick from work and don’t want their bosses to see their faces
plastered in a news article and the same for family members or their neighbours
who may spot them when they’re supposed to be down the job centre looking for
work, or at home looking after the cat.
I suspect a large majority
of them do not actually have any belief in what they are there for and instead
are succumbing to peer pressure or the strong desire to ‘fit in’ among their
little circle of self-proclaimed radicals.
If you’re covering you
face you are hiding. If you’re hiding you have no self-belief, either in
yourself or your cause. If you do it, or say it, own it!
